“Most Interesting Band In The World” Reveal Cover & Track List For New Project!

Grammy-winning group, THE MAVERICKS, have revealed the official track list and cover art for their album on The Valory Music Co., slated for September 25.

Coincidentally, the project, entitled IN TIME, will be released in conjunction with the charismatic band’s 20th anniversary of their first major label album release. Their distinct sound, which has taken country to places the genre has never been, is again evident throughout the new 10-track album, produced by Raul Malo and Niko Bolas.

The Mavericks lead singer, Raul Malo, said, “The idea that we came together and made this record is a testament to faith, fate, and chance. All three were essential in the making of IN TIME. In turn, this is the record we are most proud of.” The Mavericks’ garage band ferocity and polyrhythmic beats are featured on the project – and their current single, “Born To Be Blue” – mirror the same romance and urgency portrayed at their live shows. Cuban-American frontman Raul Malo purposefully fuses together the record’s vibe with his unique vocal swagger and myriad of influences he drew upon while penning each track. The self-proclaimed “most interesting band in the world” initially formed in 1989 and have since placed more than a dozen songs on the Billboard country charts, including the smash hits “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down,” “Here Comes The Rain” and “Dance The Night Away.”

Their eccentricity and talents garnered a wide array of industry honors, such as a GRAMMY for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal as well as ACM Awards for Top New Vocal Group and Top Vocal Group. In 2003, the band members went in different directions to pursue other musical interests but recently reunited for a new exciting journey. Feel their groove and more at themavericksband.com.
