Local group The Last Ride will be teaming up with national artist Lee Brice for one big night!

On the heels of performing at the Minnesota Original Music Showcase at the Fine Line in Minneapolis and shooting the music video for their single “Malibu” in Florida, The Last Ride will have a big show to come home to. It was recently confirmed the band will open for Lee Brice at Mill City Nights in Minneapolis Thursday, March 21 at 9 p.m. Tickets to the show are available here.

“We can’t believe this is happening,” said The Last Ride. “Performing our own music that we wrote with one of the legendary songwriters that we look up to is very humbling. We are jonesin’ for this show with Lee Brice.”

The Last Ride also has some television appearances and will be performing in conjunction with the NCAA Wrestling Championship ahead in the month of March, in addition to regular shows.

“It’s going to be a crazy month,” the band noted. “We’re so excited.”

A South Carolina native, Lee Brice’s “Hard To Love” is the second consecutive number-one single off his sophomore album on Curb Records by the same name. Its lead single “A Woman Like You” set the pace, earning platinum certification and chart-topping status. His current single, “I Drive Your Truck” was released December 2012 and is making its way up the charts. Other hits include “Love Like Crazy.” Brice was also recognized a songwriter for the most played country song of 2011, “Crazy Girl,” which also earned him a 2012 ACM Award for “Song Of The Year.”
