Last November, Josh Abbott Band released Front Row Seat a unique and intense album that splits itself into acts of songs that take you through the different stages of relationships. The entire album is comprised of five acts that take you from the initial excitingly flirtatious phase of a relationship through the sometimes hard and painful ending of one. Their newest single, “Wasn’t That Drunk” featuring the lovely, Carly Pearce is taking our Song of the Week honors and is part of the album’s second act. It paints the all too familiar picture of that stage in a relationship where you’re friends, but maybe took things a little too far and now you’re both not sure if the other person shares your newly recognized feelings.
