Local country music group Greene and Hurst announced earlier today that the band will be calling it quits.
We’re sorry to hear of this news.
A post on Facebook earlier stated the following:
They say all good things come to an end. In our case, that time is here.
It is with a heavy heart that JD and I announce to you all today that Greene & Hurst will end after our December 27th, 2013 show. Life outside of this band is calling and focus needs to be placed on family and career life. I will continue to perform with Josh, Matt, and Chris in 2014 and those dates will be posted on this site (which will be renamed) and at www.toddhurstmusic.com in the next couple days.
We want to thank all of you for all of your support over the past 2 1/2 years. We sure have had a blast meeting you and building relationships with you. None of this would have been possible without you. Let’s make sure we celebrate in style. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming December shows, starting this Saturday at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill Minnesota.

Well, that sums it up pretty well. It has been great having the band on our site, and we look forward to what the future holds for all of them.
