CabaRay Set to Open its Doors in Early 2017

Legendary country and comedy music singer/songwriter Ray Stevens has broken ground on CabaRay, a 27,000 square foot music venue scheduled to make its Nashville debut in early 2017.

The multi-million dollar facility is being constructed in West Nashville at 5724 River Road. The live music venue will include a 700-seat showroom for live concerts. Stevens is developing the property with Parkes Construction Co. handling the building.

“CabaRay is going to be a great venue for live music and good food,” says Stevens. “You’ll be able to sit down for large big band concerts and enjoy a steak at the same time.”

The showroom area will include a dining area, a full-service kitchen, bar areas upstairs and downstairs, ticket and management offices, restrooms and a gift shop. Parking will be available for about 275 vehicles and several tour buses.

“I’ll be doing shows at the CabaRay, of course, but we’ll also be booking other name acts,” notes Stevens. “I think this is going to be a great hot spot for tourists visiting Nashville.”

Stevens also plans to relocate his Ray Stevens Music offices — currently on Music Row — to the CabaRay. A recording studio and an upstairs video production area will be part of Ray Stevens Music’s operations at the new building.
