First off, MinnesotaCountry.com is proud to have partnered with Lakes Jam this year! We can’t wait to see you all the weekend of June 23 -25, 2016 in Brainerd, MN! However, most importantly right now, is the contest Lakes Jam is running! It only goes for a limited time, so let your favorite bands know about it, and be sure to show them your support should they enter the contest!
BANDS: This is your chance to play at the same event with Toby Keith, Granger Smith, Chase Bryant, LOCASH, Whiskey Myers and more!
The winner will receive a $1000 contract to play two sets and one Friday ticket per band member and 6 additional single day tickets.
Set times will be Fri June 24th 2:00 – 3:30 & 5:00 – 5:50 on the secondary stage. No teardown necessary between sets.
Applications will be accepted from immediately until April 3rd. This will require a bio on the band, one original song (if able), and two covers with video.
A Lakes Jam committee will select 5 bands from all applicants and they will be announced on the Lakes Jam Facebook page on April 6th. Each of these bands will be announced in their own post that can be liked and shared.
FANS: Lakes Jam will randomly give away one three day GA pass per band post (5 total) to a lucky fan. For example, if Band 1 is selected and they receive 578 likes. They will randomly draw for one of those 578 fans to receive a pass.
BANDS: The top 3 in likes as of April 26th will move to the final round in a committee decision. Winner will be announced April 28th.
This, in our eyes is a sweet deal for bands, and of course their favorite fans as well! Please be sure to spread the word ASAP so bands have a chance to get their application turned in!
