PLATINUM selling singer/songwriter Kip Moore is nominated for his first CMA Award in the “New Artist Of The Year” category just weeks after celebrating his third consecutive No. one hit from his debut album, UP ALL NIGHT.
“It’s been a long road.  I think back on the thousands of hours of songwriting and hundreds of thousands of miles we’ve logged on the road…I wouldn’t trade any of that for the quick and easy route.   I’ve learned so much, and I’m truly honored to be up for the CMA’s ‘New Artist Of The Year’ Award,” said Moore.  “I have to admit…this is also a little extra inspiration for us as we finish up the next album!”

Last year, Moore shot out of the gate with the best selling debut country album of 2012, which spawned the PLATINUM, two week chart-topping hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” followed by two more No. one singles, “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl.” Chicago Sun-Times calls him, “A kind of magical cross between the songwriting talents of a Jackson Browne, the grit of a Bruce Springsteen and the twang of a Willie Nelson or Merle Haggard, Moore has taken the top spot when it comes to the title of one of country music’s most promising new stars.”

Moore has relentlessly toured the country coast to coast this year with Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert and Toby Keith amid selling out his own headlining shows, often in just minutes.  In November, Moore will join Lady Antebellum for their TAKE ME DOWNTOWN TOUR.  For a full list of tour dates and more information, visit www.kipmoore.net.
