A near capacity crowd filled Toby Keith’s Bar and Grill last night to celebrate the release of Shane Martin’s new album, “Light it Up”!
Cd release parties are always very special for a band or artist, and we could tell this was exactly that for Shane Martin! Many very supportive fans, family, and friends showed up for the party to show their continued support for Shane and his brand new album. You could see, through many smiles, hugs, and handshakes Shane really appreciates everyone’s support! He even had a nice banner made thanking his many sponsors! It is always great to see an artist that shows TRUE appreciation for everyone who has helped him along the way!
Shane played a few great sets throughout the night, which included many original tunes, as well as some great cover songs as well! A nice surprise during the show was when he invited his sister up on stage to join him on a song. Her voice stunned the crowd as well, and the two did an excellent job together! It was a great addition to an already great show!
We noticed there were photographers, as well as a full film crew there as well. Now we can’t wait to see some video from the show!

After a great show, Shane mentioned he would be competing in the final regional round of the Texaco Country Showdown tonight at Northern Light’s Casino in Walker, MN. If you’re in the area, stop out and show your support!
We are anxiously awaiting a phone call from Shane to let us know the outcome of tonight’s competition! We wish him nothing but the best of luck tonight, and feel if he does as well has he did last night he stands a very good chance of moving on to the next round!
