While you’re here, we ask that you please take a moment to check out some of the brief information below regarding Mindy Miller. They are a great band to have on our site, and we are proud to have them listed!

When asked how she would describe her latest album, Mindy simply stated “Sophisticated Sass.”

“Let It Burn” is the breakout album from country entertainer, Mindy Miller. In early 2014, she was signed to an independent record label in Nashville. During her time with the label, two singles, “Wrong” and “Coming Down on Me” both made it into the Top 100 of the Music Row radio charts. This is her third studio album release. Mindy is currently wrapping up the release of her latest single from this album called “Same Old Song and Dance”, which will be released to radio in September 2015.

According to Mindy, this album features songs that allow the listener to “walk my journey with me, while conveying exactly what I’ve been through and what has brought me to where I am today”. She selected and wrote songs that have ‘attitude’ and touch on real life experiences of love, loss, independence, heartache and sacrifice. Many of Nashville’s best instrumental musicians are featured on “Let It Burn”. Songs from some of the city’s most talented writers, such as David Vincent Williams, Merv Green, Troy Verges, Curt Ryle and Don Blassl, along with music Mindy co-wrote are included.

Raised in the small rural town of Kismet, KS, Mindy grew up with a wide, open space to dream big. “I was blessed to have parents who encouraged me to soar.” says Mindy. As a three-year old, Mindy used to hold her mom’s hairbrush and serenade her family with “Elvira” by the Oak Ridge Boys and “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers. “Surprisingly, I was a very introverted and quiet child, but as soon as any type of music would come on, I became someone else.” says Mindy.

At the age of five, Mindy performed at her church in front of an audience for the first time. From that point on, she was hooked and performing was all she wanted to do. She continued to perform throughout her childhood and teenage years. She began singing competitively at age fifteen, appearing in statewide televised telethons and hosting pageants. Mindy performed at functions for the Liberal, KS International Pancake Days and local Lion’s Club, along with singing in the school choirs and show choirs. She also performed in all the musicals in high school and college. Mindy enjoyed opening for Diamond Rio, Ty Herndon, Tracy Lawrence, David Kersh, Terri Clark, and John Berry at her local state fairs. As Mindy strengthened her singing voice, she also learned to play the piano and began writing music. She graduated from Liberal High School with her sites set on Nashville and mainstream country radio.

Along the way, Mindy met her current producer of 19 years, Curt Ryle. At 22, she signed with an independent country music label and went on to be nominated for the American Horizon Award and Best Female Singer of the Year at the 1999 Independent CMA Germany Awards. She was also featured in the May 1999 edition of “Country Music People” magazine.

“I am blessed that so many people in my life believe in me, and I’m honored to have people with incredible musical talent who demonstrate their loyalty by staying rooted by my side. Thank you all for your support, friendship, and belief in me. 2015 has been and will continue to be an amazing year.” Mindy says. When she isn’t touring, she is serving at her church as a member of the worship team.

“At the root of everything I do, I put God first and everything falls into place according to his plan.” – Mindy Miller
